Connecticut In Connecticut, abuse of seniors can take many forms, such as financial scams, insurance fraud, physical abuse or financial exploitation.
Physical abuse or neglect can include anything from withholding food or medical attention to assault or sexual abuse. Financial abuse includes theft or other misuse of a patient's personal funds, including those funds to pay for services already being paid for by Medicaid.
